Biography

Dr. phil. Karlheinz Steinmüller, born 1950, is futurologist and science fiction author, co-founder of Z_punkt GmbH The Foresight Company 1996, since 2002 its scientific director. From 1976 to 1982 active at the Academy of Sciences, dealing with modelling and simulation of eco systems. 1982 to 1990 freelance author with focus on science fiction. 1991 to 2001 future researcher at the Sekretariat für Zukunftsforschung (office for future research) in Gelsenkirchen. Numerous publications. Steinmüller is author (commonly together with his wife Angela Steinmüller) inter alia of three science fiction novels, several science fiction compilations and of a biography on Charles Darwin.
