Example: Concept of a Radar-Workshop

Aim of the future radar: Through the future radar fundamental future issues with growing importance shall be recognized early, understood and analyzed according to their impact on your future strategy. This way your company remains on the right course into the future and is able to use new opportunities and to react to newly developed risks and threats in time.
Possible course of a future radar:
- Requirement analysis: FMG requests the hot future topics being discussed in your team via e-mail and suggests some itself. The issues are collected, structured and prioritized in a second round. One to three issues are selected. Thus it is guaranteed that the most important future issues are detected and processed by the radar.
- Target discussion: By phone we discuss aims, contents and schedule of the research and the workshop.
- FutureMonitor: In the frame of the time budget FMG gathers the available facts and projections and prepares them for discussion and analysis in the workshop.
- Radar-Workshop: The chosen future topics are presented and discussed. The consequences for your company are identified by a highly efficient method. The future strategy is updated and measures decided upon if necessary.
- Documentation: In the documentation all results are contained clearly and comprehensibly.
- Résumé: After the workshop we discuss the results and the implementation in practice.
Frequency: Ideally, the future radar is conducted in two cycles per annum.
